Laura Linney, best known for portraying strong, but fragile characters, is one of the most celebrated American actors of today. When she graduated from Brown University she started her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. Within two years of the time, her debut film hit the market, and following year, her debut on television. She received many accolades during her professional career, including four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
