Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actress that has appeared in multiple television series. She is also a star in the film industry. She's popular in both Canadian and American television. Emily began acting at the age of 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie on one of Katie's films. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she began training in acting classes and went to auditions. Her first audition was for a couple of ads, and was soon cast in Are You Afraid Of The Dark A Canadian horror film for children. It was just only one scene and without dialogue. On the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily was a professional dancer, and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. She was ranked number 51 on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
