Katherine Heigl admits her childhood in a white bubble and how this realization affected how she raised her adopted, multiracial children. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about her skin tone, until she came across her adopted sister from South Korea. Meg was asked whether the way she was treated differed when they were out together with their parents or when they went alone. Meg replied, "Oh, sure, I was treated the same way all the time!' Heigl told parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." She admitted to becoming upset, but she felt that she had to channel that energy to help the adopted children she has. Heigl has a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. In 2009, they welcomed Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
